Augments in PoE 2 are for the upgrades that do not always replace your gear, but still change how your character performs. A rune, soul core, or idol can add the missing stat, improve a key item, support a specific mechanic, or push a build closer to where it needs to be.
This category brings together PoE 2 augment-style items such as Runes, Soul Cores, and Idols. Some are used for socketed gear. Others are more focused on special modifiers, build support, or character-specific upgrades. The value is usually in the detail — the exact bonus, the item it fits into, and how well it matches your build plan.
Use this page when your setup already has a direction, but still needs refinement. Maybe you need more damage. Maybe your defenses feel thin. Maybe one socketable upgrade or special modifier is enough to make the character feel smoother in mapping, bossing, or endgame progression.
Not every upgrade has to be a full gear swap.
Sometimes the right augment is the cleaner move.
