This Optimized Chaos Whirlwind Assassin package pairs Chaos Runic Talons with 290-319% enhanced damage with assembled Fury Runic Talons; both claws have +3 Lightning Sentry. Fortitude Dusk Shroud, Guillaume's Face and Trang-Oul's Claws support the claw-and-trap hybrid. The level-90 tree invests in Venom, Claw Mastery, Lightning Sentry, Death Sentry and Fade. The Act II mercenary uses ethereal Reaper's Toll, ethereal Fortitude in a random 2000+ defense armor and ethereal Andariel's Visage.

How To Play

Cast Venom and select Fade or Burst of Speed for the situation; those two buffs do not stay active together. Place Lightning Sentries for ranged damage and Death Sentries where corpses are available, then use short Whirlwind passes with the Chaos claw equipped. Cloak of Shadows and Mind Blast provide control. This is a claw-and-trap hybrid rather than a pure speed-farming package. Use the listed Call to Arms and Spirit switch for buffs, then return to both claws. Reaper's Toll adds cold damage and can destroy some corpses needed by Death Sentry. The package does not promise a particular Whirlwind or trap-laying breakpoint; check the actual combination in game.
