Assassin - Blade Fury Assassin - Optimized

Build Overview

This Optimized Blade Fury Assassin package equips an ethereal Death Berserker Axe, Phoenix Monarch and Fortitude Dusk Shroud, with Guillaume's Face, Steelrend and the Angelic ring and amulet pair. Its physical blade plan invests in Blade Fury, Blade Sentinel and Blade Shield, with Venom and Death Sentry support. The Act II mercenary uses ethereal Reaper's Toll, ethereal Fortitude and ethereal Andariel's Visage. The level-90 tree assigns all 101 hard points. The listed Assassin Torch, Annihilus, seven Traps skillers, eight small charms and Call to Arms / Spirit switch are included.

Pros

• Blade Fury provides a ranged physical attack alongside the other blade skills.
• Angelic Halo and Angelic Wings are included together for their set interaction.

Cons

• Physical resistance, hit chance and target positioning affect results.
• Death Sentry needs corpses, and ranged blade mechanics do not apply every weapon property as a melee attack would.

How To Play

Set Blade Sentinel paths where enemies will cross, use Cloak of Shadows or Mind Blast to control the pack, and channel Blade Fury from a position with a clear line of attack. Use Death Sentry when suitable corpses are available. Reposition when enemies close in. Keep the distinction between a ranged blade attack and a melee strike in mind when assessing weapon effects.
