Paladin - Holy Freeze Zealot - Top Tier

Build Overview

This Top Tier Holy Freeze Zealot package uses Doom Berserker Axe to supply Holy Freeze, while the character runs Fanaticism. Zeal and Sacrifice form the melee branch; hard points in Resist Cold and Salvation support the item aura. Crown of Ages, Fortitude and the listed ethereal Exile shield complete the core equipment. The Act II mercenary uses ethereal Insight, ethereal Fortitude in a random 2000-defense armor base, and ethereal Andariel's Visage.

Pros

• Doom supplies Holy Freeze while Fanaticism remains available as the active aura.
• The Exile shield and buff switch are included as listed.

Cons

• The item aura is fixed by Doom; additional skill bonuses do not raise its granted level.
• Attack speed, durability, resistance and block depend on the actual equipped character.

How To Play

Keep Holy Shield active and Fanaticism selected while using Zeal. Doom supplies the Holy Freeze aura; the saved tree therefore does not spend hard points in Holy Freeze itself. Reposition between packs and monitor weapon durability. Exile can apply Life Tap, but it is a chance effect. Check cold resistance and attack speed on the delivered setup.
