Sorceress - Frozen Orb Sorceress - Optimized

Build Overview

This Optimized Frozen Orb Sorceress uses the Orb/Energy Shield branch. Frozen Orb supplies the main cold attack, Ice Bolt supplies its damage synergy, and hard points in Telekinesis support Energy Shield. The level-90 plan and exact character, inventory and Insight mercenary items are listed below.

Pros

• Insight provides a Meditation aura for mana recovery while the mercenary is alive.
• Frozen Orb, crowd-control utilities and Teleport provide several ways to manage positioning.

Cons

• A depleted mana pool weakens both casting and Energy Shield protection.
• Cold immunities, poison and mercenary survival still need attention.

How To Play

Use the Call to Arms switch for Battle Command and Battle Orders, then return to your main weapon set. Keep Frozen Armor and Energy Shield active. Aim Frozen Orb so its shards pass through your targets, use Glacial Spike for crowd control where it works, and Teleport to reposition. Use Static Field where effective, then finish with Orb or let the mercenary handle suitable targets. Treat mana as part of your defense: watch the mana globe, carry potions and keep the Insight mercenary alive for Meditation. Energy Shield does not remove the need for life or poison protection. Check monster immunities before committing to a fight.
