Paladin - Uber Smiter - Top Tier

Build Overview

This Top Tier Smiter package combines Grief Phase Blade, Exile and Chains of Honor Dusk Shroud with Guillaume's Face, Goblin Toe and Dracul's Grasp. Smite, Holy Shield and Fanaticism form its boss-focused core. The Act II mercenary uses Insight, so its weapon does not cast Decrepify over Life Tap. The level-95 plan assigns all 106 hard points, with the remaining investment in the listed resistance auras. Check your actual Hell resistances and Life Tap setup before entering Uber encounters.

Pros

• Smite-focused boss setup with the listed Crushing Blow and Life Tap equipment.
• Insight avoids a weapon-based Decrepify proc overwriting Life Tap.

Cons

• Single-target Smite clears groups slowly and does not use ordinary life leech.
• Uber readiness depends on resistance overstack, curse uptime, blocking and player execution; the package does not guarantee a kill.

How To Play

Cast Holy Shield, select Fanaticism and use Smite on the chosen boss. Dracul's Grasp provides chance-to-cast Life Tap, which is not guaranteed on the first hit. Check the target curse and your health throughout the fight. Ordinary life leech does not heal through Smite. Resist Lightning and Resist Fire hard points raise maximum resistance passively; they do not by themselves supply the resistance needed to reach that cap. Overstack resistance for enemy penalties, including Uber Mephisto's Conviction, before attempting the encounter.

Before Uber encounters, check the actual resistance total, Life Tap source and Crushing Blow on the equipped setup.
