Build Overview

This Early Ladder Rift Assassin combines Dragon Talon kicks with the Frozen Orb proc from an assembled non-ethereal Rift War Scepter. The level-85 kick/trap plan also invests in Venom, Lightning Sentry and Death Sentry. The exact character and Act II mercenary equipment is listed below.

How To Play

Cast Venom and summon Shadow Master. Choose Burst of Speed for its speed benefits or Fade for its defensive benefits; they cannot remain active together. Place sentries, then use Dragon Talon against a suitable target while the traps work. Add Death Sentry when corpses are available. Use Cloak of Shadows or Mind Blast to manage packs and Dragon Flight to approach a target carefully. The weapon is a completed Rift War Scepter, with random +5–10 all attributes and no promised extra base skills. Raven Frost supplies Cannot Be Frozen. Use potions as needed rather than assuming permanent mana sustain. The starter includes an Insight mercenary, without a charm set or buff switch.
