Build Overview

The Magic Find Frenzy Barbarian combines fast dual-wield melee attacks with Find Item to get another chance at loot from eligible corpses. Frenzy builds attack and movement speed as you land hits, while Battle Orders increases life and mana.

Choose this build if you enjoy hunting elite packs, managing weapon switches, and searching corpses after each fight. Routes can include Eldritch, Pindleskin, and the Travincal Council. Balance Magic Find with damage and survivability: more Magic Find is a poor trade if it makes every kill substantially slower.

How To Play

• Cast Battle Command, Battle Orders, and Shout before fighting. Equip your combat weapons, then land Frenzy hits to build speed.
• Focus on reachable elite packs. Keep your mercenary out of the middle of dangerous groups, and use Teleport to reposition if Enigma is equipped.
• Use Berserk against Physical Immune enemies when allocated. Its magic damage offers an alternative, but it lowers defense and does not sustain you through life or mana leech.
• Once the fight is safe, switch to your Magic Find weapons, such as dual Blade of Ali Baba, and use Find Item on eligible corpses. Switch back to your combat weapons before engaging another pack.
• Against an act boss, a Magic Find switch before the killing blow can improve the initial drop’s Magic Find if you can finish safely. Find Item works only on eligible corpses.

Extra Notes

The featured weapon pairing is Breath of the Dying with Last Wish. Breath of the Dying supplies damage, attack speed, and life and mana leech. Last Wish supplies Might, Crushing Blow, and chances to trigger Life Tap and Fade. Keep potions available while waiting for procs, and monitor your resistances before Fade activates.
An Act I Fire mercenary with Faith adds Fanaticism. Faith’s chance to reanimate enemies can reduce the corpses available for Find Item.
