Lightning fires through aligned targets while Chain Lightning reaches across a spread-out pack. Teleport lets the Sorceress change the firing angle and stay outside melee range. Resistant targets and the mercenary's position still influence which fights are worth taking. The Lightning Sorceress uses the listed Spirit sword and Monarch, Vipermagi and an exact +3 Lightning Skills / 10% Faster Cast Rate magic amulet.
Cast Frozen Armor, use Teleport to maintain space and choose Lightning or Chain Lightning according to the enemies in front of you. Static Field can help against suitable targets within its difficulty limits. The listed Insight mercenary supports mana; no Infinity or lightning sunder is included in this starter.

Buyer answer
Dual Spirit and Insight equip ranged Lightning and Chain Lightning without specialist resistance-reduction gear. Pick this if you want to develop the weapon, helmet and inventory yourself rather than purchase them with the package.
