Sorceress - Firewall / Frozen Orb Sorceress - Top Tier

Build Overview

This Top Tier Firewall / Frozen Orb Sorceress combines two damage types with an Insight mercenary. The level-95 skill plan maximizes Fire Wall, Warmth, Fire Mastery and Frozen Orb, with remaining points in Cold Mastery after prerequisites and utilities. The exact package is listed below.

Pros

• Fire and cold attacks offer alternatives against single-element immunities.
• Warmth and the Insight mercenary support mana recovery.

Cons

• Fire Wall requires enemies to remain in its path and can be awkward to aim with a controller.
• Dual fire/cold immunity and dangerous packs can still require skipping a target.

How To Play

Use the Call to Arms switch for Battle Command and Battle Orders, then return to Heart of the Oak and Spirit. Keep Frozen Armor active. Place Fire Wall along enemies that stop to attack your mercenary, and use Frozen Orb when cold damage is the better option. Aim Orb so its shards pass through targets. Use Static Field where effective and Teleport to reposition without trapping yourself in a pack. Fire Wall takes careful aiming, especially with a controller. These kits have no Sunder charm: check both fire and cold immunities, and skip targets the mercenary cannot safely handle. Insight helps mana recovery while the mercenary is alive; carry potions for interruptions.
