This Early Ladder Dragondin combines Hand of Justice with Dragon armor and a Dragon shield for item-granted Holy Fire. Run your own Conviction aura and use Zeal for melee attacks. Includes the exact listed gear and a level-85 plan.
Cast Holy Shield and keep Conviction active while engaging enemies. The item-granted Holy Fire runs alongside it; the hard points in Resist Fire and Salvation supply its synergies. Ordinary skill bonuses do not raise the Holy Fire level granted by these items. Use Zeal against targets that need direct attacks, and Charge for movement where safe. Keep healing, mana and rejuvenation potions available, watch dangerous monster packs and check your Hell resistances. This kit has no Teleport item. Leech recovers from eligible physical damage rather than the fire damage; aura pulses alone do not supply life or mana leech. This starter has no Sunder charm or inventory charms, so some fire-resistant enemies may require mercenary help or another route. Insight supports mana recovery while the mercenary is alive. Early Ladder names the gear tier; its required high runewords must still be equipped before playing this setup.
