| Build Type | Warlock - Cleave Warlock - Early Ladder |
| Main Skills | Cleave, Mirrored Blades, Hex: Purge, Eldritch Blast, Demonic Mastery |
| Skill Target | Level 85, all 12 quest skill points |
This Early Ladder Cleave Warlock equipment package combines assembled ethereal Oath Balrog Blade with 210-259% enhanced damage with the quoted Ars Dul'Mephistos grimoire. Guillaume's Face and Lionheart form the armor core. The level-85 skill plan uses all 96 available hard points, assuming every skill quest is completed. The Act II mercenary has Insight, Treachery Mage Plate and Tal Rasha's Horadric Crest.
Use Cleave against close groups and Mirrored Blades against a focused target. Apply Hex: Purge before engaging, and use Lethargy for control. Consume a Goatman for its combat buff. The Warlock pairs the two-handed weapon with a grimoire. Meet the actual weapon requirements after checking Levitate and usable gear bonuses. Keep a safe retreat route and use the mercenary to help hold enemies in place.
