Andariel's Visage is one of the best mercenary helms in D2R because it gives 20% IAS, 8-10% life leech, +25-30 strength, +2 skills, and high poison resistance. Ethereal versions are mostly bought for mercs, then socketed with Ral or a 15 IAS / Fire Res jewel to offset the -30% Fire Resistance penalty.
Act 2 mercenaries use Andariel's Visage for faster attacks, strong life leech, and bonus strength that helps equip high-requirement weapons like Infinity, Insight, Pride, or Reaper's Toll.
The main downside is -30% Fire Resist. Most buyers fix this with a Ral rune, or with a 15 IAS / Fire Res jewel when they want both attack speed and fire resistance.
For premium rolls, look for 30 Strength, 10% Life Leech, and 150% ED. Ethereal 30 Str / 10% LL / 150% ED is the top merc-focused version.
